When Pharrell wore his new skin-care products at the BET Hip Hop Awards on Sunday, it was a reminder of how the singer’s latest ventures with his music brand have paid off.
The Grammy winner’s new line of skin-lightening products includes the $79-a-pack BB Cream and the $49-a, $99-a and $99.99-plus-a line of facial and body treatments.
It’s also the first time the pop star has released a range of skin care, but the company hasn’t provided any detailed images of the products.
“We wanted to get a little more hands-on with the product,” Pharrell told Billboard on Sunday.
“I have some really good friends and I have some friends who are dermatologists, so I really wanted to have a closer look.”
The BB Cream, a water-based skin-firming cream, is a $79.99-$79.98-a bottle.
The $49.99 plus-a version contains 5-percent hydroquinone cream and a $29.99 mask, and the bottle’s price is only $39.99.
The BB cream is available in a “light, non-greasy” formulation and the facial mask is made with “natural and organic ingredients,” according to the label.
Pharrell said the products are available in the U.S. and Canada.
The product is available online for $59.99 and can be ordered via the company’s website or on the company website.
The facial mask, which also includes a $39 mask, is $39 and the BB cream comes in four shades of skin tone.
Pharnell told Billboard the BB Cream “is the best of the lot, and you know it.
You get the best benefit of the BB.”
Pharrell has also released a facial mask with a 1-percent glycolic acid and a 1.8-percent sodium hyaluronate.
The two products, the duo said, “give you a super-light, hydrating, hydrated and moisturizing cream.”
The new line is Pharrell Skin Care, which is the latest addition to the brand’s lineup.
The rapper is known for creating a line of high-end beauty products, including the $9.99 face-brightening eye cream and the SPF30 sunscreen.
Pharmaceuticals and other beauty products from the singer have been a part of the Pharrell brand since 2009, when Pharrell launched his signature “I’m Pharrell” line of skincare products.
Phreak’s company was founded in 2014 by rapper Tyga and the duo have since released several different line of products.
The Pharrells have also collaborated on several videos for the company, including one featuring Pharrell singing a version of “Don’t Touch That.”
Pharnells new skincampo has been in the works for about a year, with the rapper telling Billboard that he started the line to “make sure we had products that were great and were affordable and I had a feeling I wanted to do this for myself.”
The line is expected to launch in the fall, and Pharrell is working with a global skincast-based agency, Skincare Revolution, to launch the brand.
